Martin Prünster

Martin is an electrician and your personal contact at Voltalps in Merano. He handles the electrical side of projects, from the site survey and technical planning to system coordination and optimisation.

His focus is on generating, storing and using solar energy safely and effectively within the building. He considers the roof, grid connection and consumption together.

Patrick Prünster

Patrick is a heating technician who contributes the thermal side of each project. His work covers heating systems, heat pumps, hot water and buffer tanks, including their integration into existing systems.

He focuses on hydraulic coordination: heat should be available where it is needed. Heat demand, storage and usable solar surplus are assessed together.

Working together

Two disciplines. One coordinated system.

Solar PV, battery storage and heating deliver their value through coordination. We therefore clarify the interfaces early: which loads have priority? When should energy be stored? When can surplus be used for hot water, heating or an electric vehicle?

We combine electrical and thermal planning with straightforward operation. Direct communication and clearly explained technical decisions accompany the project.

Our starting point is Merano. We work with households, condominiums and businesses in Burggrafenamt, Bolzano and, depending on the project, throughout South Tyrol. A site visit and direct discussion help us find a solution suited to the building.

For selected projects, Voltalps works with PHT Energietechnik in Pfäffikon SZ. This brings electrical and heating expertise together where needed. Responsibilities, the contracting party and the scope of work are stated in each proposal.
